Jed Holloway, born on November 2, 1992, is an Australian professional rugby union player who is known for his versatility in playing as a number 8, flanker, or lock. He currently represents NSW Country Eagles, Waratahs, and the Wallabies (the Australian national team).

Holloway's rugby journey began in Wollongong, where he played junior rugby for the Woonona Shamrocks club. When he was nine years old, his family moved to Yamba in northern New South Wales, and he continued his rugby development with the Yamba Buccaneers junior rugby club.

He attended McAuley Catholic College and later Waverley College in Sydney, where he was selected for the Australian Schoolboys side in 2010.

He joined the Southern Districts club, where he played senior club rugby in the Shute Shield competition. In 2012, Holloway represented Australia U20 at the IRB Junior World Championship in South Africa.

He was then contracted to the Waratahs' extended playing squad for the 2013 season and made his Super Rugby debut against the Western Force in March of that year. At the age of 21, he was named captain of the Greater Sydney Rams team for the inaugural season of Australia's National Rugby Championship in 2014.

In September 2019, Holloway joined Irish Pro14 and Champions Cup side Munster on a two-month contract as World Cup cover. He made several appearances for Munster before returning to the Waratahs for the 2020 Super Rugby season.

Holloway made his international debut for the Wallabies against Argentina on August 6, 2022. He impressed with his performances in the 2022 Bledisloe Cup series against New Zealand, showcasing his tackling and ball-carrying skills.

While primarily starting at blind-side flanker, he has also occasionally started at lock for the Wallabies. In January 2023, Holloway was named in the 44-man Wallabies training squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Throughout his career, Holloway has demonstrated his talent and versatility on the rugby field. He has amassed Super Rugby caps for the Waratahs and has made a significant impact in both domestic and international rugby.
