Born and bred in Waipukurau, Brendon Edmonds made his debut as a prop for the Hawke's Bay 2012. He was called up by the Hurricanes as injury cover 2014, making his Super Rugby debut in a 39-20 triumph over the Blues in Round 10.
A member of a very strong Hawke's Bay front row, Edmonds is a powerful scrummager with a high work rate who performed well in the 2015 Super Rugby season for the Highlanders. He was selected for the 2014 and 2015 Maori All Blacks and at just 25 years of age, looks to have a promising career ahead of him.
