He began his rugby journey at Trinity School in Croydon, initially playing as a forward before transitioning to the centres and eventually finding his position on the wing. His first club was Bromley R.F.C.
Ibitoye made his debut for Harlequins in November 2017, featuring in a match against Saracens. He showcased his skills and speed on the wing, quickly establishing himself as a promising talent.
In July 2020, Ibitoye left Harlequins and signed a two-year deal with Agen in the Top 14, the French rugby union league. However, he was granted a mutual release from the club and instead joined Montpellier as a medical joker for the remainder of the 2020-21 season. Following his time at Montpellier, he signed with Israeli side Tel Aviv Heat, showcasing his versatility and adaptability in playing for different teams.
On the international stage, Ibitoye has represented England at various levels. He captained the England U18 team on a tour of South Africa and made significant contributions, including scoring tries and being named Man of the Match. He has also been part of the England U20 squad, helping the team win the U20 Six Nations and reaching the final of the U20 Junior World Championship.
During his time at Harlequins, Ibitoye made 40 appearances and scored 70 points for the club. His impressive performances and memorable tries earned him recognition, including the Greene King Try of the Season for his exceptional try against Newcastle Falcons in the Gallagher Premiership.
With his return to the UK, Ibitoye joined Bristol Bears and aims to continue making an impact on the field with his speed, agility, and try-scoring ability.
In preparation for the 2022/2023 season, Ibitoye was signed by Bristol Bears, marking his return to the Gallagher Premiership. Throughout his career, Ibitoye has been known for his exceptional try-scoring ability and dynamic play on the field.
