Euan Ferrie is a Scottish rugby union player who has made his mark as a versatile player capable of playing in both the second-row and back-row positions. He currently represents Glasgow Warriors and has shown great potential in his young professional career.

Ferrie began his rugby journey at Calderglen High School of St Leonards in East Kilbride, Scotland. He then played for East Kilbride Rugby Club before moving on to Hamilton Bulls. Later, Ferrie joined Glasgow Hawks, where he continued to develop his skills on the field.

In the 2021-22 season, Ferrie joined the Scottish Rugby Academy as a Stage 3 player and was assigned to Glasgow Warriors, a testament to his talent and potential. He was also selected to be part of the Boroughmuir Bears squad for the Super 6 season, further showcasing his abilities.

Ferrie made his debut for Glasgow Warriors in a pre-season match against Ayrshire Bulls on September 2, 2022, at Inverness. This marked his first taste of professional rugby with the Glasgow side. He went on to make his competitive debut for Glasgow Warriors in the United Rugby Championship against Benetton Rugby, almost scoring a try shortly after coming onto the field. With this debut, he earned the distinction of becoming Glasgow Warrior No. 347.

In the following rounds, Ferrie continued to make appearances for Glasgow Warriors, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability in different positions. He made his European debut for the team in the 2022-23 EPCR Challenge Cup match against Bath Rugby, contributing to a 22-19 victory for Glasgow Warriors.

On January 23, 2023, Ferrie signed a professional contract with Glasgow Warriors, officially transitioning out of the Scottish Rugby Academy and solidifying his commitment to the club.

In his international career, Ferrie represented Scotland at the U19 and U20 levels. He played alongside future Glasgow teammates Alex Samuel and Max Williamson in the 2021 U20 Six Nations, where he showcased his skills and potential.

With his ability to excel in multiple positions and his determination to succeed, Euan Ferrie has the opportunity to continue his development and make significant contributions to Glasgow Warriors and Scottish rugby as a whole.
