Vui started playing in 2012 as a member of the Waitemata under 21s.
He headed to Waitemata and caught the attention of the then-Waitemata premier coach Mark Ozich and was promoted to the premiers after four games in the under 21s.
From there, Vui caught the eye of Auckland selectors, and was named in the Auckland Juniors before the selection in the New Zealand under 20s camp.
With a further impressive chain of performances, the versatile Samoa forward was signed by Worcester Warriors until the end of the 2017 season.
