Representing the French national side 3 times between 1999 and 2000 Laussucq started his professional career in Paris with Stade Francais before returning to his place of birth, Bordeaux, for a few seasons. That was followed by stints at 3 other french sides before making the trip to Leicester Tigers to finish off his playing career in 2008.
After moving into into coaching he spent some time at Mont-de-Marsan in the Pro D2 taking them to multiple play off games but not able to make the final push into the Top 14.
He announced an agreement with Top 14 side Agen ahead of the 2019/20 season taking up a coaching role
