Charlie Rice, a promising young talent, joined the Academy Scholarship programme of Bristol Bears in July 2020.
As an England U18 international, Rice has already gained valuable experience at the representative level.
In this season's Premiership Shield competition, he made his senior debut for Bristol Bears A against Harlequins, demonstrating his potential and readiness to compete at a higher level.
Prior to joining Bristol Bears, Rice played his club rugby at Gordano Sharks, showcasing his skills and passion for the game. He further honed his abilities while attending SGS Filton, a renowned rugby institution. As a lock, Rice brings a strong physical presence to the field and is known for his commitment and uncompromising style of play. His performances in the U18 Academy League campaign have made him stand out as a player to watch, and his continued development within the Bristol Bears system holds great promise for his future in the sport.
