Carl Hayman has become one of the most respected rugby players in World Rugby over his 16 year career.
He began his professional career in 1999 when signing for the Highlanders in Super Rugby, and went on to earn 81 caps over 8 seasons. In 2007 he reportedly became the highest paid rugby player in the world when he signed for the Newcastle Falcons where he played 61 matches at tighthead.

In March 2010, it was announced that he would join Toulon along with a host of high-profile names as Toulon looked to bolster their ranks.
Since 2010, Hayman became a vital member of the squad and enjoyed plenty of success by winning the Top 14 as well as the Heineken Cup in 2014.
He was named as captain in what was his final year of rugby before retirement, and lead his team to the European Championship Cup final against Clermont in May 2015.
