He won the Rookie of the Year and Matt Cockbain Rebel Rising Medal at the end of year awards event.

Neville's performances earned him a call-up to the Wallabies extended training squad during the mid-season Test fixtures against Scotland and Wales in 2012. He continued to impress and was included in the Rugby Championship and end of season Spring Tour squads.

In 2016, Neville signed a 2-year deal with the Queensland Reds, where he played for two seasons before moving to the Western Force in 2018. He played for the Force until the end of the 2020 Super Rugby season before signing with the Melbourne Rebels for the 2021 season.

During his time in Japan, Neville established himself as a key player for the Toyota Verblitz, starting in all but a handful of their matches and becoming a regular in their second row. He also played alongside several high-profile international players, including Kieran Read and Michael Hooper.

Neville has also represented the Melbourne Rebels in the National Rugby Championship (NRC), playing for them in 2015 and 2016. He has also played for various other teams at the state and club level, including the Melbourne Rising in the NRC, the University of Queensland in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition, and the Brisbane City and Queensland Country teams in the National Rugby Championship.
