Brad Davis, born on March 13, 1968, is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He has also had a successful career as a rugby coach in both rugby league and rugby union.
As a player, Davis played club rugby league for Nottingham City, Huddersfield, the York Wasps, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Castleford Tigers, and the Villeneuve Leopards. He played primarily as a stand-off, scrum-half, or hooker.
After retiring as a player, Davis transitioned into coaching. He coached the Villeneuve Leopards in rugby league and served as the assistant coach of Castleford Tigers.
In rugby union, Davis has held coaching positions at various clubs. He served as the defence and skills coach for Bath, where he played a significant role in their success, including a European Challenge Cup win in 2008.
He then joined Wasps as a defence coach, contributing to the club's improved performance and reaching the Premiership final. Davis later moved to Ospreys, where he continued to enhance his reputation as a top defence coach.
In June 2019, Davis was appointed as the defence coach for London Irish, a position he held during their return to the Premiership.
Throughout his career, Davis has been recognized for his expertise in defence and has made significant contributions to the clubs he has worked with.
