The electric winner made his Springbok debut as a 21 year old in 2005 where he set the current SA record of 6 tries in a test match. Starting off his career with the Cheetahs U19&U21s, Chavhanga went on to represent SAU21 and SA7s before moving to the Stormers and Western Province for 6 seasons in 2004. 2010 saw a move to the Lions for two years in Johannesburg before a move to the Gwent Dragons. 2013 saw the four times capped Springbok returning to the Cheetahs for the Currie Cup.
