Born in Iowa, America, Paul Emerick has developed into a quality outside back who can operate at both centre and wing. Having played in Italy for two seasons, Emerick linked up with Welsh side the Newport-Gwent Dragons before returning to Italy in 2008 where we spent two season with Crusaders Rugby Parma. Since then Emerick has enjoyed spells with both Ulster and London Wasps. Since making his international debut for the USA Eagles in a 2003 encounter with Spain, Emerick has gone on to amass over 50 caps and is an experienced member of the current American crop. Emerick's career has not been without controversy however, after being banned for ten weeks in 2010 for kicking Canadian centre DTH van der Merwe in the head during a qualifying match for the 2011 World Cup.
