Lauren represented Scotland in the Home Nations University 7s championship and was in the GB University 7s team at the World University Championships in Portugal in summer 2009.
She played in all four tournaments during the debut Scotland Women 7s season in 2012 .
Aside from rugby, Lauren has represented Scottish Borders in football, South of Scotland in hockey and won medals at the Scottish University Indoor and Outdooor Athletics championships in 2008 and 2009.
She was called into the Scotland Women squad for the 2017 Six Nations tournament.
