Born and bred in Worcester, Abbott is a tenacious back row forward who began his professional career in 2008. A part of the Worcester Warriors academy system, Abbott progressed to the senior side in October of 2008 when he made his first XV debut. He has since gone on to represent England on the Sevens circuit.
