Diego Magno is one of the most experienced members in the Uruguayan national team.
In 2008, he represented Uruguay U20, making 9 appearances and scoring 2 tries.
In that same year, Magno went on to make his senior international debut against Russia in Bucharest.
Magno was first selected for Uruguay World Cup squad in 2015, however did not get a chance to play.
His grit and determination prevailed when he was selected again in the 2019 Rugby World Cup and went on to play all 4 group stage matches.
In 2019, Diego Magno signed a professional contract for Houston Sabercats in the MLR. He played in the MLR for 2 seasons, (19/20-21/22) and accumulated 17 caps and 1 try.
Since then, he signed for Penarol where he is currently playing his professional rugby.
