Scarlet’s signed the vastly experienced New Zealand born Fiji international prop from the Chiefs in 2006. Manu began his career at provincial side Waikato in 1999. After two years playing with Waikato, Manu was selected to play for the Super Rugby franchise The Chiefs, where he made 56 appearances during his five year tenure-also earning caps for the New Zealand Maori, most interestingly against the British and Irish Lions in 2005. Despite having represented the New Zealand Maori, Manu was eligible to represent Fiji through his mother-and he made his Fijian debut against Scotland in 2009. Manu has had the honour of captaining Fiji, as he was named their captain in late 2010.
