Playing both fullback and wing, Botha made his Vodacom Cup debut for the Welwitschias and Currie Cup debut for the Valke in 2010.
2011 saw Botha representing Namibia at the Rugby World Cup and was then snapped up by the Lions in 2012.
Chrysander has represented the Lions in the Vodacom Cup, Currie Cup and helped the province secure Super Rugby status for 2014.
It was announced on 31 July 2014 the Botha had signed for Premiership side Exeter Chiefs.
