Hailing from Essex, England, Skirving is comfortable across all three slots in the back row. Having graduated from Bishop's Stratford High School, Skirving joined the Saracens Academy before making his debut for the club in 1999. Ten years and over 100 caps later, Skirving left Sarries to link up with Bath. the experienced backrower has since moved onto Bristol.
