Wallabies Lose Simmons
The Wallabies might have Michael Hooper
available to face New Zealand but Rob Simmons will not be fit
for Saturday’s game.
The Reds lock needs surgery for a wrist injury and will miss both games with New Zealand over the next two weeks.
However Simmons should be fit for the final warm-up fixture against the USA in Chicago.
Dean Mumm, the former Exeter Chiefs lock who scored off the bench in Mendoza, could be promoted to the starting line-up as a result.
"Obviously we’re all disappointed to lose Rob," said Wallabies head coach Cheika.
"However, we’re confident he will make a full recovery ahead of Rugby World Cup.
