Jonny May

May stood out for us in a fantastic Gloucester win as the Cherry & Whites ran in 7 tries against Worcester this afternoon. The England winger scored the first try of the game and his first try since 2015 in the Aviva Premiership, a quite amazing stat. May then turned provider for the home side's second try as with a nice run he set up Matt Scott. May's performance will be pleasing for England boss Jonny May ahead of the 6 Nations.

Dan Baker

The Ospreys number eight was immense again for his side today. He seamlessly got over the gainline each time he carried and put the Welsh side on the front foot throughout the game. The former Welsh international was his side’s primary ball carrier and went over for a well taken score to get his side on the board after just twelve minutes. He picked from the back of the ruck and saw an opening in the Connacht defence, which he dived through to score. The back-rower was unlucky not to get over the line on a couple of other occasions but put his side in position for others to score with his dominant carries.

CJ Stander

Another number eight who stood out today and certainly must be in Warren Gatland’s mind for  Lions place at this stage was Irish international, Stander. On a day that Anthony Foley was in the minds of every Munster fan, his jersey was filled well by his protégé. The gargantuan back rower was his side’s best ball carrier as always. At times it seemed like he could run through a brick wall today as he bounced off oncoming tacklers. He went over for a great try in the first half when he beat his man on the outside and ran in from outside the opposition twenty-two. The former South African under-twenty was all over the park today, winning turnovers, making tackles and picking from the back of the scrum. He paid great homage to his late coach with this performance today.
