Donald denied Ulster switch
Ulster have been dealt a blow in their efforts to replace outgoing flyhalf Christian Lealiifano - who was at the club on loan from the Brumbies.
Ulster looked to former All Black flyhalf Stephen Donald on a short-term deal but have not been able to complete the signing after receiving a medical report on the player yesterday (Sunday).
Donald had agreed a short-term deal to join the Province, but he sustained an injury while representing his club in the final game of the Japanese season, which will rule him out for 4+ weeks.
Ulster have stated that the timeline makes it very difficult to find a suitable replacement, but the club will continue to monitor the market.
