Another maul off the back of a loneout from the Saints pack creates a try. Scrum-half Dickson peels off the side of the maul and sneaks over in the corner for Northampton's second of the game.

Daly pulls three points back for Wasps after the early conceded try. Daly puts the ball between the posts with a good strike from distance.

Why what happened??

A driving line out from the Saints pack proves too much to handle fro the Wasps forwards. Collapsing the maul on purpose, from the Wasps pack, gives the referee n other option but to award the penalty try.

Conditions are poor to say the least at Adams Park today. Going to be a difficult game for both teams with the snow/sleet falling down on the pitch.
