Harlequins take a 28-12 lead over Bordeaux into halftime. Quins got off to the perfect start with an early try and they were awarded a penalty try shortly after to open up a 14-0 lead, with Bordeaux picking up a yellow card in the process. Bordeaux hit back with to scores to slash the deficit to 14-12. However, Quins would finish the half strongly, running in a further two tries for a 16 point advantage at the break.
