The Sale Sharks host the Exeter Chiefs in round 3 of the Premiership. The Sale Sharks remain unbeaten from their opening two matches, beating Bath 20-19 and drawing 31-31 with London Irish. The Exeter Chiefs have lost their first two fixtures, going down 34-19 and 26-24 to the Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints respectively. These sides of course met in last season's semi-finals, where the Exeter Chiefs ran out 40-30 winners.
