The Sharks take a 13-3 lead over Western Province into halftime. The Sharks crossed for an early try and a penalty soon after made it 10-0. Western Province hit back with a penalty of their own, but a long range drop goal to end the half restored the Sharks 10 point advantage.

Officiating in this farce is laughable. Hopefully Jaco Peyper is a better lawyer than he is a referee
