La Rochelle take a 12-9 lead over Toulouse into halftime of the Champions Cup Final. The sides alternated two penalties apiece, with La Rochelle missing a shot at goal as the scores were level at 6-6 after 26 minutes of play. La Rochelle then picked up a red card 27 minutes, but shortly after Toulouse saw yellow, with the resulting penalty making it 9-6 in La Rochelle's favour. A third Toulouse penalty evened things up again, but La Rochelle slotted a penalty with the final play of the half to hold a slender three point advantage at the break.
