Connacht take a 14-6 lead over Ulster into halftime. Ulster opened the scoring with an early penalty, but Connacht hit back with the games first try to lead 7-3. A second Ulster penalty made it a one point ball game, but Connacht responded almost immediately with their second try to take an eight point advantage into the break.
