Canterbury send it out from the lineout and receive a penalty soon afterwards that is cleared for touch

Taranaki gather well from the restart and possession changes hands a few times with some sloppy play before Taranaki send it downfield with the boot. It travels dead and Canterbury receive a scrum on their ten metre line as a result

B. Barrett gains possession of the ball on the halfway and runs his way to the Canterbury 22 with a dodge of a defender here and there. He then hands the ball over to Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens who travels the final 22 metres and gets it over the line!
