Ruptured achilles ends Steffon Armitage season
Former England international and current Pau back-rower Steffon Armitage has suffered a season-ending injury after rupturing his achilles tendon.
The injury will see the 32-year-old sidelined for 6 to 9 months. Armitage suffered the injury during Pau's Challenge Cup semi-final against Cardiff Blues on the weekend.
Pau has two league games left against table-topping Montpellier and Toulon with a place in the playoffs still up for grabs.
