Nottingham name Everard their new Captain

Nottingham have today announced that back rower Matt Everard has been confirmed as the club's new captain.

"Being named captain is a big honour and I'm really grateful. Nottingham as a club means a lot to me and I want it to be as successful as possible," said the 25-year-old.

The Wasps and Leicester Tigers forward made his Nottingham debut for the club on loan as an 18 year-old in February 2010, when he featured in an away tie against Munster 'A'.
