Trask gets the second half underway for the Chiefs, taken by Vunivalu

The Reds take an emphatic 33-3 lead over the Chiefs into halftime. The Reds were awarded a penalty try 15 minutes in, with the Chiefs picking up a yellow card in the process. The Chiefs pulled three points back shortly after with a penalty. The Reds then crossed for a second score and it went from bad to worse for the Chiefs, as they received a red card to go down to 13 players. It was all Reds thereafter, as they ran in a further three tries for a commanding advantage at the break.
