The Lions take a 22-15 lead over the Stormers into halftime. The sides traded early penalties before a Lions try gave them a 10-3 lead. The Stormers hit back with a try midway through the half, but the Lions responded shortly after with another try to lead 17-8. The Stormers ran in a try around the half hour mark, but a late Lions score sees them up by seven points at the break.
