The Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints head into halftime all square at 6-6. Saints opened the scoring with an early penalty to lead 3-0. Leicester levelled maters with a penalty around the midpoint of the half and a second shot at goal just after the half hour mark saw them up 6-3. Leicester picked up a yellow card on the stroke of halftime, with Saints slotting the resulting penalty to see the sides deadlocked at the break.
