Exeter Chiefs take a 14-6 lead over Bath into halftime. Exeter opened the scoring with a try 17 minutes in, but Bath kept the scoreboard ticking over with two penalties to trail 7-6. A second Exeter try saw the hosts up by eight points, but they then picked up a yellow card towards the back end of the half. Bath piled on the pressure with their numerical advantage, but were kept out by some outstanding Exeter defence.
