Edinburgh take a 17-14 lead over Munster into halftime. Edinburgh started strongly with two tries in the opening 15 minutes to open up a 12-0 lead. Munster hit back with a score to get on the board, but a third Edinburgh try followed four minutes from halftime to make it 17-7. Munster responded with a score with the final play of the half to trail by just three points at the break.
