The sides are out for the second half

The Crusaders take a 17-14 lead over the Highlanders into halftime. The Crusaders opened the scoring with an early penalty. The Highlanders missed a penalty attempt, but shortly after crossed for the games first try to lead 7-3. The Crusaders bounced back with two quick tries to take control at 17-7. However, the Highlanders got right back into the match with their second try just before halftime to trail by only three points at the break.
