Carty gets the second half underway for Connacht

Connacht take a 29-17 lead over the Lions into halftime. Connacht struck first with an early try before the sides traded penalties shortly after. The Lions then went over for a try to hit the front 10-8. Connacht responded with two scores to lead 22-10. The Lions hit back with a try around the half hour mark, with Connacht picking up a yellow card in the process. Despite being down a player, Connacht crossed for a late score to hold a 12 point advantage at the break.
