The hosts have opted to rest a number of their All Black stars for this clash against the Brumbies. The likes of Retallick , Lienert-Brown & Cane will not be on display after they did duty for New Zealand against the British & Irish Lions. The Brumbies have travelled with a solid squad to take on the Chiefs and will be buoyed by the resigning of Hawera who has committed himself to the franchise for a further two years.
