The former Springbok Sevens, Junior Springboks and Blue Bulls age group flanker, Adendorff, represented the Blue Bulls U19 side in the 2011 Under-19 Provincial Championship, and in 2012 represented South Africa in the U20 IRB Junior World Championship.
In January 2016, Addendorff moved to Wellington-based outfit Boland Cavaliers for the 2016 season.
