Of the 42 players called up to prepare for the third match of the 2025 Six Nations Tournament against Italy , only 28 are making the trip to Rome this Thursday, to take part in the match or watch it from the stands as reserves. The players of the French XV are used to going back and forth between their club and Marcoussis, especially during the weekends of doubles. This weekend, the Six Nations Tournament and the Top 14 overlap, giving the opportunity to thirteen of the fourteen players released by Fabien Galthié and his staff to be aligned on the match sheets in the championship.
