Julián Montoya was named as Argentina captain in the teams final Squad Announcement ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Los Pumas today released their final 33-man squad for the upcoming tournament in France with Montoya a key fixture of the side.
The hooker has started and captained the side in all of Argentina's games across the Rugby Championships and Summer Nations series in the build-up to this Autumn's contest for the Webb Ellis Cup, including a victory over the Wallabies, in which he scored a vital try, and tight losses in games against the All Blacks and Springboks.
Los Pumas have one final warm-up game remaining, against Spain on August 26, before they begin the Pool Stages. Their first Rugby World Cup match comes England on September 9 before clashes against Samoa (September 22), Chile (September 30) and Japan (October 8).
