Early on the Sharks are struggling at scrum time despite their all Springbok front row. Western Province enjoying great success here with turnovers and penalties.

Crowd favourite Schalk Burger is in as a temporary substitute in place of Siya Kolisi who received a knock to the head.
for sure... best flyhalf in SA by far

TRY WESTERN PROVINCE. The games lightening start continues with centre Damian De Allende crossing for his sides opening score. WP put serious pressure on a Sharks scrum close to the Sharks line and turned it over. Few phases later De Allende picked off a weak shoulder in the Sharks defence and crossed. Demetri Catrakillis converts. 10-7 the score.

TRY SHARKS. Good start becomes a great start as scrum-half Charl McLeod intercepts a loopy pass on half-way and runs in to score. Lambie converts and the Sharks are in dreamland early on. 10-0 after only 5 minutes.
WoW. Running away with the game.
Lambie for the Boks year-end tour.

PENALTY SHARKS. Great start for the Sharks as Patrick Lambie kicks a great penalty from the left of the posts about 40 metres out. A good game from their kicker is huge for the Sharks and they will be encouraged by his start. 3-0 the score.
hopefully the sharks take it.

Underway here at an electric Newlands! Incredible atmosphere and emotion on display with numerous players and even experienced referee Johnathon Kaplan shedding tears at the anthem.
