Undefeated Tasman host winless Manawatu in Round 3 of the ITM Cup in Blenheim.
Tasman tops the Premiership log with two wins from two and will be looking to make it three victories in row. A 35-20 win over Waikato and a 34-13 win over Bay of Plenty will have the home side full of confidence as they have collected maximum points heading into the encounter.
In stark contrast, Manawatu remain without a win having succumbed narrowly 36-35 to Counties Manukau as well as a 28-21 loss to Waikato. They may have picked up 3 losing bonus points from the opening two rounds, but the visitors will be desperate to register their first win of the campaign.
It doesn’t get any easier for Manawatu, with a trip to last season’s Premiership runners up.
