Southland host North Harbour at Rugby Park Stadium in Invercargill in the final game of week 3 of the ITM Cup.
It is the third game in a week for Southland, but being back at home should be a big lift. Southland started their campaign with a 23-23 draw against Auckland and then followed with an impressive 27-18 win away against Northland. However, that work was undone when losing 10-26 to Bay of Plenty away on Wednesday.
North Harbour remains winless, bottom of the Championship standings and are coming off a 43-0 drubbing at the hands of Wellington. They will be looking to get back some self-respect after this recent thrashing.
When the sides last met it finished Southland 25-21 North Harbour.
