Ireland take a 14-10 lead over Scotland into halftime. Ireland started brightly, kicking an early penalty and running in the game's first try to lead 8-0 inside the opening ten minutes. Scotland got on the board with a penalty shortly after and had their first try 27 minutes in to edge ahead 10-8. Ireland would keep the scoreboard ticking over, slotting two late penalties with a Scotland miss in-between.
