The Newcastle Falcons take a 17-10 lead over Saracens into halftime. Saracens picked up a yellow card just seven minutes in, but opened the scoring with a penalty to lead 3-0. The Falcons hit back with a try after 15 minutes and followed that up with a second score midway through the half to lead 14-3. Newcastle added a penalty around the half hour mark, but Saracens finished the half with a penalty try which saw the Falcons pick up a yellow card in the process.
