The Stormers take a 21-0 lead over London Irish into halftime. The Stormers were awarded a penalty try 13 minutes in, with London Irish picking up a yellow card in the process. It went from bad to worse for London Irish, as they received a red card just 17 minutes into the match. London Irish then had a chance to get on the board, but their penalty attempt went wide. The Stormers scored try number two around the half hour mark and crossed for a third late score for a comfortable lead at the break.
