Australia 7s captain signs until 2018

Ed Jenkins has secured his future in rugby sevens beyond the Rio Olympics, signing a two-year deal with the program.

The 30-year-old double Commonwealth Games medalist made his debut for the national Sevens side in February 2008 and is the most capped Australian player at World Series level of all-time with 45 caps.
