The Stormers take a 20-7 lead over the Lions into halftime. The Lions got off to the perfect start with an early try to lead 7-0. The Stormers got on the board with a penalty and a try shortly after saw them in front 10-7. The Lions picked up a yellow card thirty minutes in and the Stormers capitalized immediately with their second try. The Stormers were not done yet and would run in another try with the final play of the half for a 13 point advantage at the break.
