Counties Manukau take a 22-13 lead over Hawke's Bay into halftime. It was a sea-saw first half, with Counties starting strongly to lead 10-0 before Hawke's Bay came roaring back to level it up. Two quick tries gave Counties a 12 point lead before Hawke's Bay closed the gap to nine with a late penalty
